Bath time

Awwww! He's had a bath and he HATED it! His little teeth chattered the whole time. My poor little guy. He's staying dirty from now on. No more baths! Just kidding hehehe.

Bob and Gwenn

Bob and Gwenn stopped by to meet Evan on Saturday night. They gave us an amazingly thoughtful gift - they saved the front page of The New York Times from the day Evan was born, and framed it. At first, we thought it might look good in his room but we love it so much, we are going to hang it downstairs. It was nice that they could stop by with Mima and Pop Pop here as well. We all enjoyed their visit! We love their gift so much, and can't wait to show it to you the next time you stop by.

Mima and Pop Pop Visit!

Mima and Pop Pop came up from Virginia to visit this weekend, and we had a great time! The last time I was up at 3:30 a.m. with my parents and we saw someone half-dressed, drinking from a bottle, crying, and throwing up, it was on Duval Street in Key West. Little Evan brought us all together again on Saturday night. Anyway, we watched the Flyers beat the Rangers, gave Evan a bath, had a Santucci Brothers pizza party, watched Snakes on a Plane, and made a delicious batch of Pancakes Evan on Sunday morning...there were some tired eyes, but it was a non-stop party. Evan can't wait for them to come back!

Happy Birfday Evan!

Our little boy is a month old already? Where does the time go....Stealing a great idea from Evan's cuz's blog, we will post a picture of Little E with the same toy every month on the 14th through the first year of his life, to chronicle his growth. Selecting the object to measure Evan against was tough - we had to choose something good because it will appear every month. I brought many suggestions to Steph (known from here on out as "Management") for approval. It took a few tries before Management approved the cute Build a Bear that the Caldwell's gave us when Evan was born. We think it's a good size to track his growth. Below, you can also see some of the items Management rejected en route to this decision.

Evan's 2007 Super Bowl Challenge Winners

The awards ceremony was held last weekend for the winners of Evan's 2007 Super Bowl Challenge. Brittany won a "World's Greatest Aunt" shirt (a distinction she shares with Aunt Kelly), and Corona agreed to run a very special label for Josh's major award, accepted by Brittany. As you can see, Evan gives pretty good prizes that are tailor made for the winner, so watch his blog for future contests and make sure you get in it to win it!

Tummy Time

This is the second time I gave Evan his tummy time (recommended to help build his muscles and help with learning how to crawl). He doesn't seem to mind it much and tried to eat his rainforest play gym thing.

Such a smart baby!

It's not a snaggle tooth... It's a little skin flap hanging from Evan's lip. For some reason he always has one and once it falls off, another one forms. Anyhoo, here's our baby hitting toys on his rainforest play gym. He LOVES it and is so coordinated (unlike his mama).

After Party

Awwww! Too much fun for these two. This is the sound coming out of Mike's mouth "zzzzzzzzzz".

Raging Superbowl Party

The three of us had a crazy superbowl party at our house on Sunday with just us. Here's Mike and Evan partying it up. I had such a good time I fell asleep. Notice the tissues and Mike's tired eyes - Evan drank way to much and spit up 3 times on Mike and one time on me (drank too much milk that is - the beer is daddy's). Congrats to Brit and Josh for winning Evan's Superbowl thing. You will get a major award.

Evan Meets His Cuz Jack!

Uncle Mike, Aunt Kelly and Jack came all the way from Virginia to spend the weekend with us. Jack had the coolest t-shirt for the occasion-check it out on the video. Evan loved meeting everyone, and had such a good time, he couldn't get to sleep. All night long. Steph was not happy about that, but it was great to see everyone and spend time with them. Noel and Chrissy were able to stop by to meet Evan Saturday night, too!
