We drove down to Virginia this weekend to visit Mima, Pop Pop, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Mike and Jack (who showed off his rad moves, and is beginning to teach his younger cousin tricks!). Here is Evan showing off his new Phillies cap. Is this kid not the most beautiful little guy ever, or what? I'm telling ya - if he gets any better looking, I'm getting a blood test done!
Here I am with my nephew, playing the back nine on the Gifford Links. How cool is his custom golf cart? Young Jack will teach Evan all the important sports, such as golf, soccer and how to get stuff from his parents by pleading over and over in the cutest voice ever, "....but Pweeeeese Mommy! Pweeeeeeeese!!"
Finally, here is a shot of Jack having a conference with Evan. Parents were not allowed to listen, but speculation is that Jack was trying to get Evan to create a distraction by puking so he could make a run for the cookies!

Evan's First Easter
Although he missed his Grandmom and Pop Pop Cronin, who happened to be in Key West this Easter, Evan had the best first Easter EVER. First, had a great time at the big egg dye at Aunt Ella's house on Saturday night. He was a huge hit at church on Sunday morning in his little bunny outfit, and showed off his little cotton tail to everyone. He came home from church to find that the Easter Bunny visited Grandmom and Pop Pop's house, and left him the biggest basket of all of us! The little dude doesn't even know how well he made out; He got two pairs of sunglasses for the beach, beach clothes, a life preserver for the boat rides his Pop Pop will give him this summer, books and money. After playing with his basket, he joined his great cousins, aunts and uncles in a big Easter egg hunt all around the house to the Hosey Cow, took a nap, watched the Phillies and the Master's golf tournament, then went to Uncle Larry's and Aunt Wanda's for a delicious dinner. Easter just doesn't get bettter than that, young lad!

Future Dylan McKay
Evan's definitely got what it takes to be the next Dylan on the Beverly Hills 90210 re-make. Right on cue, he's able to shoot a 10,000 watt killer smile at the camera, but then he's not afraid to show his pensive/brooding side. The only question left is who will be his Brenda Walsh/Kelly Taylor/Valerie Malone/Gina Kincaid/Toni Marchette (The only one Dylan married, who we lost tragiclly in a firey car crash after the ceremony) ?
Bathtime for Bo Bo
Evan is starting to like his baths more and more. He even smiled when I gave him his after-bath massage. Check out his big belly... You would hardly know that he has acid reflux and problems with eating. Today he ate great! I've been picking my friend Kelly's brain about foods that could irritate his little digestive track, since she was on a strict diet when she was breastfeeding her Ashley. Anyhoo, here's Evan after bath.
Penguin Suit
Aunt Kelly, Uncle Mike and Jack gave Evan this adorable pengin suit! I dressed him up in it Friday night to walk Evan down to Main Street to meet our PHL friends, Martha, Mary Beth, Maureen and Rita. Evan was all warm and snuggly and we walked outside to find that it's like close to 70 degrees out! It turned out fine, though. The penguin suit was a hit and it was cold on the walk back. Evan was awake the entire walk and I could see his big blue eyes staring at me from under the beak... He didn't go to sleep until 9:30! We paid for it the next day when Evan went on a hunger strike, refused to take a nap and went to bed at 10pm after screaming for about an hour. Mike and I walked him all around the house, tried feeding him, burping him, changing his diaper - nothing could stop it. I think he was just overtired from flirting with all the girls on Friday night. Rita had given him a pair of slippers, shaped like wooden clogs from Holland! We're all sad because Rita's moving back to Holland in August... Evan would like to visit her once she goes back. Maureen gave Evan a bunch of Polo outfits and a suit! A real suit... with a tie, khaki pants, a navy blue blazer WITH SHOULDER PADS! Martha gave him a beach hat with a matching onesie and bib - so cute! We all had fun and mommy enjoyed a night with the girls.
