HAPPY FOUR MONTH BIRTHDAY!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Evan gave his Mom a really nice first Mother's Day. He somehow snuck out of the house during one of his naps and got her the earrings and necklace she mentioned that she really liked weeks ago. Sneaky, and very thoughtful, this young lad is! We all went out to breakfast, and Steph received some nice presents from her family, too. Then we hit the boards in Ocean City. Here we are on Wonderland Pier scouting out all the rides we are going to take Evan on this year.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO OUR MOMS, ALL THE MOMS WE KNOW AND LOVE!

SWING batterbatterbatter SCH-WING

Here are some shots from Evan's first ever Phillies game. We went to the game with Mark, DanielleT, Colin, Avery, Joel and Arlene. First, it took us a while to get Evan ready to head to the game, but here he is right before we left. Aunt Ella got him the Phillies onsie that he is wearing and Steph got him his Phils hat. He's either ready cheer on the Phils, or make Mommy a big surprise in his diaper - who can tell?!

Can't go to a Phils game without tailgating first. This was Evan's favorite part. He told me, but you can totally see it in his face!

We went to the game because Colin was marching on the field right before the game with his T-ball team. We missed that (too much tailgating) but we heard he was great! Here is a picture of Mark and Colin on the field. I can't figure out who looks more excited to be there!

Here we all are, minus Joel and Arlene, right as the rain was starting...

Zoo Trip

I met Jin and Marti at the Zoo in Norristown yesterday with the kids. I think John liked it the best. He was running around looking at the animals. Evan could've cared less and fell asleep in his stroller (which I was sort of glad about - he needed a nap). Later that day Evan and I met Daddy for dinner at Henry James. Evan wore his new outfit that Aunt Ella bought him when she visited this week (Aunt Ella also brought pasta, garlic bread, salad, gelati and homemade spaghetti sauce). We LOVE having Aunt Ella come to visit! He also wore Jacey's pink hat because I forgot to bring one for him. Crazy mommy! Don't tell Mike... Below is a pic with Evan, Jacey, John and Jude at the zoo.

Pre-Mothers Day Celebration

Mike and Evan surprised me this morning... Evan was wearing a shirt Daddy bought that said 'Mom' on it - like a tattoo. Mike also bought him a pair of jeans, but we had to change them because they were too big. I'm sure Evan will fit into them by next week, he's growing so fast - approaching 4 months! We had brunch at Cuba Libre and then walked around the gay awareness festival in old city. It felt so wierd walking around Mike's old neighborhood where we used to go running, or grab a bite to eat from his apartment... or get a drink... or two... or three. Now we have to pack all the baby stuff and drive there. We were also so worried - is Evan too cold? Is it too noisy for him? I had forgotten a blanket for him and took the fleece out of his carrier. Bad idea. I had no idea it was going to be chilly today. Everything is different now with the baby and so much better! It's so much fun watching his reaction to different surroundings and people. He's so outgoing and friendly with everyone. I'm so proud of our little guy!!!

Mike's Note: Yes, that is baby puke on the collar of my shirt. Running late for our reservation, I took Evan so Mommy could finish getting ready. Two seconds after I picked him up...blaaahhhhh, all over my shirt - and then he smiled at me! The little stinker knows his stuff.

Evan with the Daly Boys

Evan and visited Marti, John and Jude on Friday. We had so much fun and Evan felt so cool hanging out with the cool kids. John said that he would teach Evan how to play golf when he gets older and Jude could say 'Evan'. He also kept saying 'No Way!'. I love Jude's little rockabilly hairdo.

Pimp My Ride

Evan came down from his crib the other day singing the song from one of his favorite MTV shows...

So you wanna be a player?
But your wheels aint fly?
Just hit us up
To get a pimped out ride

You gotta pimp my riiiiiiiddddddddde
(Damn Right)

While we are waiting for Ludacris to arrive, we started upgrading his stroller right now, thanks to the souvenier Mima and Pop Pop brought back from Key West. He's already got a few girls after him from the Banana Republic on Main Street!
