Memorial Day Part I: Mantime

Memorial day weekend, Mike took Evan and fart machine to Sea Isle to watch his friend Timmy in a triathlon. I got to sleep in at my parents house. Here are the menfolk having some fun, Fun, FUN!

The little red plastic whoopee cushion is fart machine. Evan HATED the sand. Both Mike and I agree that he'd better learn to love it, because we're beach people. Sorry, Ev.

Later that day, Mike and Evan pulled the car down my parents' driveway. Check out Evan's big, strong arm on the steering wheel.

Memorial Day Part II

Later in the day we went to the boardwalk. Check out those cute little jeans and shoes. I bought the shoes a month ago and they're already tight. Evan's big, long feet are officially a size 6 now!

hehehe

Ev loved Olivia's old truck.

Memorial Day Weekend part IV

Mike was traveling for business, so Evan and I stayed with my parents. Here we are meeting Aunt Doris to do some walking on the boardwalk. Check out those big feet!

Mike's home from Maine

And look what he brought us! I named them Pinchy and Moonbounce. They were alive when he brought them home. It kinda made me sad, but they were oh-so-tasty.

I made the salad to get some greens into Mike. Evan passed out early, so we broke out the wine.

Weekend in VA

Happy Birthday, Jack! We had so much fun at your party extravaganza! Here are some highlights:

We stayed at Mima & PopPop's. Here's Evan and Mima in the morning... Evan is shoving a banana in his mouth.

Evan's asking PopPop to come out and play.

The 3 generations of Cronin men play in the backyard (the landscaping is beautiful btw)

And now the party! The theme this year was farm/Jack. I didn't think Kelly could beat last year, but guess what! I wish we had more shots of the decorations, but I was busy stuffing my face.

Evan by far loved the moonbounce and the alpacas best.

Jack's airborne!

Here are the cousins after a bear hug.

Oh yes - and the alpacas! These were our present to Jack.

And the cake! It looks professionally decorated, but Kelly did it!

I wanted to get some Aunt Susan, Uncle Paul, Granny & Gramps Gifford shots at the end of the night, but Evan went into super-weenie mode. We then headed out at 8:30 to drive back to PA.

Back to Philadelphia! Sorry Ziggy, we can't take the moonbounce with us.

Mike left for Maine the next morning, but Evan went to NJ for what else, but another party! It was Jeff's birthday. Here's Evan trying to escape from Jeff's arms. He was like static cling to my side the whole day (Evan, not Jeff).

Sarah jams out to Danzig. hehehe

Someday we will spend a weekend at home and be totally bored.

My 2nd Mothers Day (not including the one when Evan was inutero)

We spent the day on Saturday taking the ferry from Cape May to Rehoboth, DE. It was windy, rainy and cold, but cleared up after the QVC outlet (my mom's mothers day pick). We were gone from 9:30 am until 10:30 pm with Evan only taking a half hour nap in the car in the morning and falling asleep on the ferry home. He was awesome the whole day. The only crying was when he woke up around 10pm in the van while we picked up a late night dinner to bring home. What a little trooper! But first my M. Day present from my sister.

I did pick out something cute, that didn't involve butt products, but it was at the Atlantic City outlets the next day. Here are some ferry pics.

Here's a dressed up doggy at the terminal.

Captain Evan and his first mate.

Evan is surrounded by ladies, as usual.

Evan gets some mommy time.

And some daddy time too.

Wait a minute! That's not Evan's mommy!

My dad & Mike stopped for a drink at Hooters in Rehoboth while my sister, mom and I hung out playing "Memory" in a coffee shop down the street. I beat my sister by 2 matches! hehehe. Needless to say we were all covered in Hooters stickers by the end of the day. Evan alone had one on each knee and one on his heinie.

The ferry ride home was beautiful. Brittany and Evan were asleep in the van on the bottom deck. awww!

That's me!

And here's the best part yet!! Brittany and I found lots o' great stuff at the QVC outlet. One of the best things was located in the doll section. It was something called "Fluffy" that Brittany almost bought for Mike for fathers day. But then lo and behold a dress rack FILLED with these lovely numbers. Believe it or not, they were only $6 each so my sister bought 3 of them started calling friends to recruit them so they could go as "The Duggars" on Halloween. Brittany is going as the mother Duggar. I think her friends were a bit disappointed and wanted to be something a little more sexy, but I think Brittany convinced them. Here we are modeling the lovely outfits.

It may look like 3 pieces, but guess what! It's only 2! The shirt and skirt are attached and beautiful denim vest was just an extra bonus on top. Yes. Each complete outfit cost ONLY $6!!! Brittany then practiced the hairdo (not shown).

I didn't superimpose Brittany's head on someone else's body. It just looks that way.

I will end on a serious note. I am so lucky to be a mommy to Evan. He's definitely the coolest little guy in the whole world. Although I'm sure that someday he will look at these last 3 photos and wish he had a different mom. I'm also so lucky to have my Mike. I love you guys!
