I'm so cute
look at me!
11 pounds of pure Noah!
He actually projectile pooped on me today. He shot my arm, the blanket hanging on the edge of his bed and everything in between!
Our little Noah is looking more and more like Evan as he's growing. Evan, but with a little less hair at that age, and a little chubbier. Even though he was a full pound lighter at birth, he's surpassed Evan in weight in the weeks that followed. His face is rounder and he eats a lot more. He does seem to suffer a bit from the reflux issue that Evan had, but at least I know how to nip it in the butt by eliminating dairy and caffeine from my diet.
Mike and I had Dave, Lea, Gisella, Michael and little Mikey over to see the baby. My poor guests came over on Saturday and I hadn't even brushed my teeth yet and the house was in shambles. Thankfully they know me well enough to expect that and it was fun to have everyone over. Lea taught Evan about talking "stickies" on my Mac and now Evan's obsessed with it.
Evan's friend Audrey, her little sister Sammy and their mom Shari came over yesterday for a playdate. We walked to the park and had a picnic dinner. It was a little chaotic with the 2 infants and both Shari and I had to stop for a nursing break and to chase away the hungry squirrels. Evan had a late bedtime because we didn't walk back until it was turning dark (we were actually the last people to leave the park), but it was fun. Shari brought over this delicious vegetarian dish for me and Mike - I think Mike will actually like it, it's that good!
Evan's having fun with his new brother despite some tantrums focused on me and Mike. He's very sweet with the baby, but a little off-kilter. He's been shy at school once the baby was born and stays by me when I drop him off instead of running off with his friends. Also, at gym class he wanted me by his side for the first half of class instead of running off and jumping off the equipment like a crazy man. He also always wants Mommy to put him to bed all the time and he hangs out and tries to get my attention when I nurse. Other than that, the little guy is doing amazingly well for as Mike says Noah is for Evan the "playdate that never goes away".

Play All Day!
That's what Evan sings every time Aunt Brittany comes to visit. Thankfully Brittany has been helping us out big time. She came over 2 weekends in a row and took off 2 days of work. She's been my slave girl, taking Noah in the middle of night after a feeding when he's having a hard time falling back to sleep. She takes Evan to the park, puts him down for naps and bedtime, gets him dressed in the morning. I wish she could just live with us, but unfortunately she has a life in Brooklyn. Poop. Here are some Aunt Brittany highlights...
First of all cute hands.
And feet!
Cute baby!
Brittany and Noah joined us at Evan's school for the Mother's Day Tea! There the kids sang a bunch of songs to their mommies. Then we all sat down for tea and snacks. I learned from Evan's teachers that Evan eats foods at school all the time that he never eats at home - like cream cheese and strawberries on cinnamon sugar graham crackers! Just when you think you know someone...
Carrying my big boy like a baby after the Mother's Day Tea.
We walked to the Adobe Cafe one night for Mexican (Evan loves the guacamole). It was beautiful eating outside, but it was one of those crazy nights when Noah nursed the entire time and Evan just wanted to dance with Aunt Brittany on the sidewalk. Here they are on Main St. at Le Bus for lunch after Noah's 2nd doctor visit.
Let me tell you about the doctor visit. The doctor tells us before Noah's weigh-in that normally strictly breast-fed babies loose some weight in the first couple of weeks. I didn't think anything of it remembering van had lost some weight at first. So then she weighed Noah- and he had gained 2 lbs since his birth! What a little piggy
At his doctor visit...
Dr. Cronin looks at Noah's stats on the computer.
Last night the boys (Mike, Evan and Noah) hung out on the porch with Stephanie, Brandon and their friends.

Noah's first visit to Grandma's and Pop's
Noah had a busy day! Aunt Ella, Aunt Donna and Olivia visited in the morning.
Becky and Janice visited later in the day. They brought over the funniest t-shirt that Bob picked out. I will post a shot of Noah wearing it when he wakes up tomorrow. So funny! He also got a surfboard tummy matte from Becky. Very appropriate since we're moving to the shore.
Becky manhandles Noah.
I'm wearing my lovely nursing smock.
Evan got some sparklers and pops from Becky.
Here he is playing with them before bedtime.

Some cute random stuff...
A few weekends before Noah was born... I miss this long hair. The entire family has prohibited me from ever getting his hair cut again. Brittany is especially upset about it. UPDATE: Mima and PoPo love the new do'! So not the entire family...
Here I am pregnant. I'm so happy Noah is out. I was so sick of being preggers.
Grandma visits and helps take Noah to his first doctor visit.
Here we are at Noah's first doctor visit.
I give Noah kisses.
And he kisses me back!
