Halloween - Boo!

Little Sharky

Yes, I know this is very late and we've gotten several complaints since none of the family was able to hang out with Evan for the special day (damn Phillies and their parade). Just kidding! hehe It was such a fun Halloween weekend. Actually, it all officially started the weekend before when Mike took Evan to "Creep in the Deep" at the aquarium and we went to a pumpkin patch/hayride place (pics coming soon)... Then Wednesday night we carved a jack-o-lantern and toasted the pumpkin seeds. Friday we went trick-or-treating on our street. The next day, we walked to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants that was celebrating Day of the Dead. Mike and I drank margaritas next to skull offerings while Evan ate pumpkin bisque, tilapia and then flourless chocolate cake with banana stuff on it. Then Sunday we went to a party at Mark & Danielle Daly's, which was completely decked out for Halloween. We really took advantage of the holiday. Here are some trick-or-treating pics...

Mike and I dressed up as lifeguards, notice the "suntan lotion" on our noses. That's toothpaste. Our costumes were completely free this year. Evan's was borrowed from his cousin Jack who was a shark last year. We're going to have to get it professionally drycleaned because now it's smeared with chocolate. So I guess it wasn't completely free...

Evan really took his time picking out the most perfect piece of candy from each of the bowls. He's like his dad in that way...

Evan's carrying a Halloween flashlight from Mima's goody bag. He loves that flashlight so much that he fell asleep with it one night.

The sharky hiney was the cutest part. After we got home, we sat on the porch with our neighbors and passed out candy. We kept asking Evan to shake his tail and he did. So damn funny. Then Mike starting lighting fireworks on the porch steps. I took that as a cue to bring Evan up to his bed.

This guy was dressed up entirely in post-it notes.

What the?! This is why we can never move from this neighborhood.

More monsters...

the grim reaper display was back again at the end of the street.

Chocolate soooo gooooood. Sharky takes after is Mama and Dada.
